About FMM Institute
FMM Institute was incorporated as a separate company of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) on January 12, 1999.

FMM Institute's Vision:
To be the leading organisation in providing a comprehensive range of training programmes and advanced learning opportunities with educational excellence in industry practices and technology in tandem with the nation's surge towards developed nation status.

FMM Institute's Objectives:

• To equip employees of the manufacturing sector with skills and knowledge needed to carry out their assigned jobs effectively.
  
• To upgrade existing technical skills and knowledge of the manufacturing industry in order to keep abreast with constant technological changes
  
• To provide a vehicle for constant exchange of experience and ideas in the improvement of work ethics
  
• To stimulate enterprise and creativity in the Malaysian business community through upgrading of human resources and skills development
  
• To offer continuous professional developement through Certificate, Diploma and Graduate/Postgraduate Level programmes
  
• To advocate and promote the importance of ICT in the manufacturing environment as Malaysia moves with high value-added and technology-intensive industries

In addition to being an approved training provider registered with Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), FMM Institute received the Private Higher Education Institution status (IPTS) from the Ministry of Education in July 2001. With this status, FMM-Institute conducts LAN approved Diploma and Higher Level programmes for the manufacturing industry.
