Accidents do happen everywhere and falls are the largest causes of accidental deaths especially in industries where high rise work is carried out and in construction industry. They account for 50% of all fatalities. Most accidents involving falls could have been prevented if the organization has the right management practices and the right equipment had been provided and properly used. All falls need to be prevented. However, specific precautions need to be taken (guard rails, barriers, etc) where it is possible to fall two metres (2 m) or more. When planning for work at height, consider where the work will be done. This course will provide essential training for any person, who has to manage, supervise and control the activities of people who work at heights, and also for those engaged in carrying out work at heights.
